Xin Zhao is a fighter jungler. He has one of the best early games in terms of clearing the jungle camps, he has great 1 vs 1 potential vs the enemy jungler and has strong early game ganks that you can utilize to snowball your lanes. He does fall off a bit when you get to the late game because of how easy it is to kite vs Xin Zhao and he doesn't have a lot of ways to get to the backline of the enemies. This is why you need to try and get an early advantage to snowball your lead.
Xin Zhao uses a mixture of both AD and tank items that allow him to deal damage and survive. Trinity Force is a great item for Xin Zhao and a core item that you must pick up early on. It gives him all the stats he needs and he works really well with the passives Spellblade and Rage. Sterak's Gage is a great example of a tank item that works well with Xin Zhao. It gives him more health and when he is low on health, he gets a shield to keep him alive longer.
For runes, we have the following:
Xin Zhao is a fighter, so he wants to get in the enemy's face and attack constantly whilst using his spells. This allows him to get the six stacks pretty fast, which means he can deal more damage and get a lot of physical vamp when fully stacked.
Gathering Storm is the best option for the first selection, as the other 2 offer few benefits. The extra attack damage will help Xin Zhao become more of a carry.
Xin Zhao can dash in to deal bonus damage when enemy champions are low on health. Giant Slayer is another good option when playing against Bruisers and Tanks, which build a lot of health.
Bloodline's healing will help keep Xin Zhao alive during teamfights. Legend: Tenacity is another excellent option when playing against champions with a lot of Crowd Control.
Overgrowth allows Xin Zhao to gain permanent health throughout the game when nearby minions or monsters are killed. So the more Xin Zhao farms in the jungle, the more Maximum Health he will get.
With Xin Zhao, he has a very fast early jungle clear. This means that you can work your way around the jungle really fast and be aggressive when contesting the scuttle crabs in the rivers and getting early ganks off. It is best to start at Red Brambleback as you don't need to worry too much about early mana and you will be healthy enough to get through your jungle without taking too much damage.
This is what the jungle patch would look like:
Below is a beginner's guide for jungle in Wild Rift. It goes in-depth about every jungle camp, epic monsters and more!
Xin Zhao can struggle a lot in the late game. Your best way to go about the late game is trying to get onto the backline in a team fight and trying to knock them up with Three Talon Strike and knocking all other enemies away with Crescent Guard. Your main objective as a jungler is to keep track of when Dragons, Rift Herald and Baron spawn. Taking these epic monsters will give you and your team an advantage in the game. When in a team fight, try your best not to get caught out and try to keep auto-attacking and using your abilities to deal damage.
Xin Zhao is a very easy and beginner-friendly champion to play. He has a lot of damage early game where you can try to get some early ganks off to get an advantage so if you like that sort of playstyle then you will enjoy playing Xin Zhao
